Kang's Family; Migrant Wives, Local Husbands (Chinese: 外来媳妇本地郎 is a Cantonese sitcom produced by Guangdong Radio and Television. Filming began on April 18, 2000, and has been broadcast on GRT Pearl River Channel since November 4, 2000, with two episodes on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:00. It is the longest-running and most frequently aired sitcom in Chinese television history. As of May 15, 2021, the show has aired more than 4,000 episodes.

When a group of archaeologists uncover the tomb of a legendary warrior, they unearth Kuuga’s belt, accidentally releasing an ancient race of monsters called the Grongi, bent on destroying humanity. Enter Yusuke Godai, a modern-day guy next door, who learns he is telepathically linked to the mysterious stone belt. With its power, he transforms into the legendary warrior known as Kuuga, humanity’s only defense against the murderous Grongi monsters.

Makunouchi Ippo is an ordinary high school student in Japan. Since he spends most of his time away from school helping his mother run the family business, he doesn't get to enjoy his younger years like most teenagers. One of these after-school bullying sessions turns Ippo's life around for the better, as he is saved by a boxer named Takamura. He decides to follow in Takamura's footsteps and train to become a boxer, giving his life direction and purpose. Ippo's path to perfecting his pugilistic prowess is just beginning...

Kagome Higurashi is a modern day young girl who lives with her family by the old Higure shrine. Unbeknownst to Kagome, she is the reincarnation of priestess Kikyo and posseses the "Jewel of Four Souls" (the Shikon jewel). One ill-fated day, Kagome locates an ancient well near her home and is abruptly transported through the well and into a feudal Japan, inhabited by demons. There, she encounters Inuyasha, son of a powerful demon father and a human mother, who is pinned to a tree by an enchanted arrow.

War of the Genders is a Hong Kong sitcom which aired on TVB Jade from 21 February to 7 July 2000. The series was produced by TVB with Tsui Chong-hong serving as the executive producer. An average of 3.1 million viewers watched the episode finale live, creating the highest rating average below the 2003 Charity Football Competition Real Madrid vs Hong Kong and tied with the 2005 Korean TV drama Dae Jang Geum and the 2008 TVB TV drama Moonlight Resonance.
