Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the use of the website and services of TV Show Tracker (hereinafter referred to as 'Platform'). By registering and using the Platform, you acknowledge these GTC as binding.
Services
The platform provides the following functions:
- Personal library management
- Episode tracking
- Calendar for upcoming episodes
- Statistics and insights
- Recommendations and discovery
The service is free of charge and ad-free.
Registration
Registration requirements
To use the platform you need:
- Minimum age 16 years
- Valid email address
- Acceptance of these terms
Authentication
Login is done via a 'Magic Link' sent to your email address. You are obligated to keep access to your email address secret.
Account duties
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep access confidential and not share accounts
- Report abuse or misuse
- Keep your details up to date
Usage rights
Permitted use
You may use the platform for:
- Personal tracking of shows
- Discovering new shows
- Viewing your statistics
Prohibited use
The following are not permitted:
- Automated scraping or bots without permission
- Reverse engineering or decompiling
- Spreading malware or spam
- Bypassing technical protections
- Manipulating or abusing data
- Violating third-party rights
Copyright
TMDB content
All series metadata (titles, descriptions, images, ratings) come from The Movie Database (TMDB) and are subject to their license terms.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
User content
You retain rights to your data; we process it to provide the service.
Platform software
The software and design of the Platform are protected by copyright. Reproduction, modification or distribution is not permitted without express permission.
Liability
Disclaimer
We are not liable for:
- Technical issues or outages
- Data loss (please use exports)
- Accuracy of TMDB data
- Damage caused by third parties
- Indirect or consequential damages
Liability applies in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Availability
We strive for high availability of the Platform, but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance work will be announced if possible.
Termination
Termination by user
You can delete your account at any time without giving reasons. Use the 'Delete account' function in the settings for this. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
Termination by operator
Accounts may be blocked or deleted for:
- Violations of these terms
- Abuse or misuse of the platform
- Legal obligations
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use signifies acceptance.
Severability
If a provision is invalid, the rest remains effective.
Applicable law
These GTC and the entire legal relationship between you and us are subject exclusively to Austrian law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna, insofar as legally permissible.
